Synapse has released a new version of The Legend that fixes this issue. Please make sure you are running at least version 1.22 of The Legend.

A customer recently reported that Gig Performer was hanging on his Mac when certain rackspaces were selected but this problem only happened if The Legend (a superb Minimoog emulator plugin) was installed, even if it was not being used at all by Gig Performer.

After some serious investigation and experiments by the customer (for which we’re truly grateful), it was discovered that the problem only happened with some older versions of Native Instruments plugins and ultimately the issue was related to the following files which were added during installation of The Legend to support Native Instrument’s NKS protocol:

/users/shared/NI Resources/dist_database/synapse audio/the legend
/users/shared/NI Resources/image/synapse audio/the legend

The problem is not actually due to Gig Performer.
